Why use the "Value Investor Tool"?
The Value Investor gives you another way to look at an investment.
It approaches the investment decision from a business perspective and basically
asks three questions that must be satisfied before you should consider purchasing a company.
The questions are:
- Does the company have a solid business history with years of uninterrupted earnings growth?
- Is the company well managed and have solid financing?
- At what price should you buy the company to insure that you have a reasonable expectation of earning the minimum return (E.g. 15% return) that you demand when investing your money?
The Value Investor Tool helps you answer the first two questions and more importantly, it provides a framework to help you decide when to buy, sell and hold a company to insure the maximum return on your investment.
